Redesigning an iconic reel that anglers have grown to love is a tough task, but Abu Garcia met the challenge with the newest adaptation of the C3. The result is improved castability with some modern performance updates. The heritage continues with the new C3, designed to meet the demands of the most hard-core angler.

Built in Sweden, the C3 incorporates three stainless steel ball bearings + one roller bearing and utilizes the durable Carbon Matrix™ drag system. The addition of a compact, bent handle and star gives anglers a better ergonomic feel. The C3’s synchronized level wind system also helps to improve line lay. The six-pin centrifugal brake gives anglers consistent brake pressure and control throughout the cast.

The tradition continues. With silky-smooth operation and power to spare, the new line of Abu Garcia C4 round reels carries on its predecessor’s legacy. Each model in the lineup incorporates the same trusted durability and engineering that generations of anglers have come to expect. The team upgraded performance and styling and merged these elements with proven strength and engineering.

Built in Sweden, the C4 series includes an aluminum frame and sideplates, four stainless steel ball bearings plus roller bearing, compact bent handle and star and a 6.3:1 gear ratio. With its 15-pound max drag, synchronized level wind system and Duragear 2 gear system, the C4 is always up to the challenge.

The C4 family also features the Carbon Matrix™ drag system that gives anglers smooth and consistent drag pressure that is crucial for battling hard fighting fish. These workhorse reels, offered in 4600, 5600 and 6600 sizes, are designed for a variety of techniques and species. Left hand retrieve models are also available in the two most popular sizes – the 5601 and 6601.

Weighing in at just 316grams, the Ambassadeur SX has a frame that is crafted of machined aluminum and a compact bent handle and star that brings the anglers hands closer to the action. Providing a more comfortable fit when rod and reel are in hand.

With the multi disk drag system the Ambassadeur SX gives anglers a smooth, consistent reel that holds drag pressure across the entire drag range.

The synchronized level wind system improves overall line lay and castability, giving anglers a solid casting reel.
